Our approach

Every website we build is designed to WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines. This includes clear heading structure, sufficient color contrast, descriptive alternative text on meaningful images, visible focus indicators, keyboard operability across interactive elements, and forms with proper labels.

We review accessibility at each stage (design, development, content migration, and post-launch) and continue to make improvements as standards and best practices evolve.

Federal accessibility requirements

Under a 2024 Department of Justice rule, ADA Title II requires state and local government websites to meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. Municipalities and public entities with populations under 50,000 must comply by April 26, 2028. We help Ohio communities prepare well ahead of the deadline.

Ongoing efforts

Accessibility is not a one-time project. We continue to audit, test, and refine the sites we build. If any content on this website falls short of our WCAG 2.1 AA target, we want to know so we can correct it.

Report an accessibility issue

If you experience a barrier while using this website, for example, a page that isn't keyboard operable, an image without alt text, insufficient color contrast, or a form that's difficult to complete, please let us know. Include the page URL and a short description of the issue, and any assistive technology you were using.

We respond to accessibility reports within two business days and work to resolve confirmed issues as quickly as reasonably possible.

Formal complaints

If you are unable to reach a satisfactory resolution, you may file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division under Title II of the ADA.
